We maintain our own individual database of all schedules, rosters, and staff, and that database is used to build the TeamView application.  While we could pull this data from the internet like many other apps, our goal is to keep the data localized for quick, reliable access.

We do everything possible to keep the data error free and up-to-date, but occasionally discrepancies do occur.  If you notice an error with any TeamView program, please contact support@teamviewapp.com and we’ll take care of it as quickly as possible.  In your email, please include the Team name, version that you are running (as indicated on the lower left of the main screen), and a detailed description of your issue.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why haven’t you updated the roster with 2009 data?
The official rosters for 2009 are generally not yet available; many of the signees are still in their respective high schools! We will update as the season nears and the rosters become more stable.

Why is the News old/stale?
Each TeamView application uses a hand-selected blog run by fans of the individual school. We try to select one that is updated frequently, accurate, and popular, but we are far from infallible. If you find that your schools news is poorly updated, and know of a better blog, feel free to contact us and we’ll look into making a switch.

Why is an internet connection required? I thought you said this app was different!
It is different – the internet connection is only required for the news. Roster, schedule, and staff listings are all stored locally and are accessible any time, any where.

Will you create an app for xxxx team?
Probably! So far, we’ve received specific requests for about 12 different teams; of those, we’ve fulfilled 10, and the other 2 are on the way. One of the requests was for a smaller (Division I-AA) school, but we’re happy to help out fellow football fans.

Why don’t you make the roster clickable? Add stats? Add History?
The primary goal for TeamView is to replace the calendar you keep in your wallet with your team’s schedule; we’re not trying to replace the media guide! We’re adding new functionality frequently, but we are going for a great deal of speed and simplicity.

Could you add the hometown or class year for each player?
That functionality is planned, and will likely be added before the season.

Could you add buttons to allow sorting by name or number for the roster?
This one is high on the list, and hopefully will be completed soon.

Are more teams planned?
Yes, we have several more teams planned; however, as mentioned before, if you have a request you should send an email to support@teamviewapp.com.
